I’ve lived in South St. Pete for the duration of my teaching career (32.5 yrs), raising my children here. I was an active member of Bethel Metropolitan and am currently a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where I worship and serve regularly. I have also served the community as a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since 1982, and continue to participate as much as possible, while carefully considering the COVID pandemic and CDC protocols.
However, since my retirement in 2010, I’ve really enjoyed spending quality time with my family and friends, completing house projects, exploring at home and abroad, and plain, old rest and relaxation!!
I thank God for great health and so many blessings! However, my children, grandchildren (Jonah-6, Giavanna-3, and Journee-2), and family are the greatest accomplishments and joys of my life!😊
BUT...What a wonderful time I look forward to having now...reuniting, again, with my friends and classmates from Lakewood High’s Class of 1972! Can you imagine 50 years...gone already? We are truly blessed!! Let’s make some more FABULOUS MEMORIES, SPARTANS!!
