Kathleen Hogan H.Trocheck

Graduated University of Georgia, 1976 with a degree in newspaper journalism. Married Tom Trocheck (LHS '72) in 1976. Worked as reporter for 14 years, most recently at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.Novelist for past 31 years. Currently writing women's fiction as Mary Kay Andrews. Tom and I divide our time between a restored 1926 Craftsman bungalow in Atlanta and our restored vacation rental cottages on Tybee Island, GA.

Not exactly a stand-out student, but I did talk John Oescher, my senior year algebra teacher into giving me a passing grade on the condition that I would sit in the back row, shut up and stop distracting the freshman and sophomores around me.
